Nice looking job. I really do hope that this works but I have my doubts as the closest material I have seen to what the Buell tank is made of is the old dirt bike plastic tanks. These shed decals due to fuel vapour escaping through the tanks and bubbling the graphics. To the extent that the decals for these tanks are perforated to allow the vapour to escape through the decal.
But as you say for £30 it has to be worth a go. If I can match the carbon weave on my tailpiece I might give it a go on my spare Manta tank.

I can assure you it is a pain to do it took 3hrs to get it like this with no seams
