(If it helps with the decision, the machinery in the Diggertours entourage is increasingly Italian ;) )

I'm going to hold back on booking a crossing for a few months, as I maybe in north west France for the two or three weeks before. Crossing to Rosslare, in the south of Ireland and a ride up (hopefuly not in a rush) would be the best option as I see it at the moment. Looks like a three ferry round trip. :sun: :sun:

I did the Cherbourg-Rosslare crossing after doing CJ's Suisse Normande trip immediately before Diggertours at the NW200, seven or eight years ago. Weather was so bad the crossing took 20 hours, but once we got off the boat we made Rosslare to Ballintoy in an afternoon :P lOl

Hotel booked, sorting out the ferry soon.
I'm quite tempted to put the bikes in my van and drive them over there, the advantages being;
1. My tyres dont get trashed on a motorway (v.v boring) trip to Liverpool.
2. Bikes can be repatriated if we have any tarmac surfing mlarkey again.
3. I can take a shit load of tools etc in case any of the Ducatis break down lOl

Location: West Yorkshire
Team Yorkshire are in too :dance: ......

We've opted for the 'Diggertours-light' package.......

Ferry:
Cairnryan to Larne at 13:30 on Sunday 11th August
Larne to Cairnryan at 13:30 on Sunday 18th August

Accommodation:
We've rented a romantic :4roz: wee cottage for 7 nights near Greencastle, in the foothills of the Sperrin Mountains, to the west of Lough Neagh.

We're looking forwards to meeting up with the main Diggertours party at various times throughout the week and making a nuisance of ourselves :D ........
