interesting post's
but when all's said and done it's only worth as much as the next person wishes to pay for it ,
lot's on ebay being relisted due to current owners rather high expectations ,

another way to look at it is ,if you are changing your bike or interest what can you get in return and is it worth it :?: might be better to stick with what you got  even if it is yellow :D

24000 bikes for sale on eBay at the moment and only and handful of Buells.
And no firebolts...don't think that means a massive price though somehow :|

You might find that all the firebolts are on German ebay along with most of the other Buells that you can't find on our ebay.
They are worth what someone will pay, if its such a great bike though, why sell it?

That's my thoughts on the speed 4. I paid £1800 for it 2 1/2 years back, average millage and very tidy condition. Reading the reviews, at the time it was one of the best handling bikes on the market. If I sold it now it's realistically worth about £1400. A Triumph TT600 (faired S4) is worth even less, you can get them for £600 upwards for a ratty one.

What could I get for £1400 which comes close to a 100bhp 155mph 2004 bike with cracking handling and pretty individual looks?

Same could be said for a Buell, oddballs are never worth much money at the end of the day. And exotica isn't oddball.
