Following the success (well, we enjoyed it ) of last years Cheap & Dirty weekend in Northumberland we've decided to organise another....

UKBEG's 2012 Cheap & Dirty weekend was particularly dirty and cheap...


We'll be staying 2 nights (Friday & Saturday) in Berwick-upon-Tweed over the weekend of 8th to 10th March. Located near the River Tweed and within easy walking distance of the town centre, we first used this Youth Hostel during the UKBEG 2012 Buell Challenge and have used it subsequently for long weekends exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland coast.

Prices:
Bed(s) in shared single sex rooms - Adults £15.00 per night
Private En-suite Room - sleeps up to 2 people £30.00 per night
Private En-suite Room - sleeps up to 3 people, contains a Double Bed £39.00 per night
Private En-suite Room - sleeps up to 4 people, contains a Double Bed £59.00 per night
Private En-suite Room - sleeps up to 5 people £69.00 per night
Private En-suite Room - sleeps up to 6 people £79.00 per night

These are non-member prices; YHA members can claim a discount of £3.00 per person per night.

Cooked buffet breakfast £4.95 per person.

The forecast for the weekend is a fair bit colder than we'd hoped for but we're still looking forwards to our trip .....

Unlike two weeks ago there's no snow in the forecast so we're finally going to make it to Berwick this weekend ....
