Steve - that looks interesting :P, shame we can't be in two places at once because for us it clashes with the Ardennes trip.

I'll be having a look at this :D

There's no chance at all of me making Bonneville so this'll be a great substitute.

8-)

As the originator of this post, I feel a tad responsible to luring folk to what turned out to be somewhat of a spectator shambles on Saturday :oooops:

The most exciting thing to happen was watching a couple of hundred metres of harris fencing blow down by the strong winds, mexican wave fashion.

As I had only 25 miles to travel, I did not feel overly agrieved.

The inclement British summer plus a lack of funds scuppered my best of intentions to visit.

Mebbe just as well.

I'm off to Cornwall next weekend so if that's a washout I'll take (well a bit of ) the rap.

:sun:

Not a lot to see would be better to take part or spend a few hours looking at traffic from a motorway bridge. Nice ride out though through to Tenby along the coast..

Me and the wife went both days, agree Saturday was a bit restrictive but today they changed the rules so spent the day on the sands among the action, at the revised start line and among the bikes in the holding area. Also met and had a good chat with henry from TV motorbike show. I wore my old buell top and it got noticed by a few who stopped and asked about them, at least 3 said they had used the engines in their projects!! :shut:
The Vincent streamliner was quite impressive as it darted off along the sands.
