Just taken delivery. XB12SS, 2010, 6000 miles on the clock, mostly standard apart from a FS tensioner, a torque hammer can and EBR remapping

It seems to be a lot taller than my 2006 XB12S, although the footpegs seem higher in relation to the saddle, and it doesn't fall into corners the same way, needs pushing down. That's all I know so far :P

At current exchange rates it cost me 4,350 squid (which is more than I wanted to pay, but hey ho) Any idea what it would be in the UK :?: It looks virtually mint.

With the Germans keeping prices high, probably £5.5-6K.
I'll give you £4.5K for it, but you'll have to throw in delivery! lOl

I really want an S1, but there are no tubers in Qatar. My XB12S was, well still is I guess, the first Buell on the road in the country :P

A slightly better picture in daylight. I've removed most of the extraneous plastic. Next stop is to RTFM and learn how to set the suspension, it's a bit Chesterfield like at the moment :P

That's better   Put the suspension settings back to standard (for a 2006 XB12S anyway), and it's transformed the bike into something I recognise. The guy I bought it off (a stereotypically shaped Dutch HD rider) supposedly bought it for his wife, who is a little Thai lady. The rear suspension preload was set to 6, and the rebound was set to 4, it was like riding a pogo stick :P No wonder she couldn't reach the ground lOl

Maybe I'm a masochist, but I find the saddle far too comfortable :?

I think their 14 year old son would rule out that idea (not personally I hasten to add, merely by his existence) lOl
