I *love* my tomtom. I just planned a scenic route for Wieteke and myself. If there's a better one please advise! :)

1 - Tadley to Newbury
2 - Newbury to Oxford - A34
3 - Come off A34, take A44 via Yarnton
4 - Continue A44 to Chipping Norton
5 - Continue A44 via Evesham
6 - Go through Worcester and then take the A449
7 - Join the A442 in Aggborough
8 - Follow A442 through Shatterford
9 - In Bridgnorth join A458
10 - Follow that through Much Wenlock
11 - Go around Shrewsbury
12 - Then go via Alderbury, Crewgreen and LLandrinio
13 - Go through Pant to get to Adams.

That route pretty much avoids motorways and seems quite nice. On the map at least. Total time is about 50 minutes more. Price well worth paying considering that we are actually going to see something and we can avoid the dreadful motorways! :)

Again, if you have local knowledge of nicer routes please let me know and I'll re-program the tomtom.

Later chaps!

Mich

I reckon that has to be a "make your own punchline" moment. :D

We are setting off at 2, when Leigh finishes work. Aim to be there around 6 or 7. Depending on how sleeping in the tent tonight goes, we may or may not stay Sat night. In a lot of pain today and cant walk very well
