Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come on such a nasty day. Much respect to those who rode in from quite considerable distances through snow storms. Extra special respect to CJ and a shivering Jane who stood in the cold all day preparing the burgers. :worthy:

Really should have done a proper headcount but here are those I remember seeing including a couple whose screen names I didn't get to check.

Out for dinner in the evening we had:-

CJ and Jane
Rik, Tigs and Sugar Lips
Woody
Jon64
Willy Buell (X1)
SillyB (X1)
Dunk and Sarah (XB12Scg)
DrzSimon and Carrie
BuellAbusa and Fat Slag
Neillus (X1)
Jill Brown and Ade (XB12Scg)
Kevmean and Ronnie (X1)
Ursus Americanus (XB12X)

Others during the day:-

Spartan117 (XB12X)
Dean (1125R)
Vernon (1125CR)
John J plus 2
Paul, Gibbsy plus 1
Mrs Peel, Steed and Ben
Stevenorton and Sue (X1 Millenium + XB12S)
Coco (M2)
Mr Waff (XB12S)
Darren (XB12S)

I make that 38 people with 15 Buells. Apologies if I've missed anyone out and to those whose names or screen names I don't recall. A fantastic turnout considering the weather. :yup:

Planning to do a rideout from the shop to Em's Day again this year and Jon and I have already booked the day off. Be great if those of you who live in the East or South East would join us for the ride.

Thanks again to all of you for the effort you made and also to Pash who nearly made it and had to be recovered home to fit the belt he had there because we didn't have one :oooops:

Steve

Like I said yesterday Steve I think having the evening do has been well worth doing as it makes the event less weather dependent 8-) ........... a lot of people look at the weather and if bad think it's not worth the cold and wet just for a couple of hours chatting ...... add in an evening meal and somewhere to stay and then the event takes on a whole new meaning 8-) .................bloody glad we didn't camp this year though lOl

Bloody freezing weekend saturday down to Black Bear sunday ride back monday out on it all day, that's the first 500miles done time to get it serviced. The weekend at black/bear was great many many thanks to Chris & Jane for standing in the freezing cold serving up burgers all day :worthy: also to Steve and the b/b crew for putting on this great day which was full of fun and laughter although very cold alcohol does numb the pain lOl great to meet up with new and old friends pity the weather put a few off but those who made it tell the rest how much laughter was had. Till the next one safe riding guys. :yup:

And of course congratulations to the winner of "Best Buell" :yup: No question about it, SillyB's X1 Red Race Stripe is absolutely stunning. Don't know which parts the craftsman who created it objected to but it's a credit to the owner/rider/artistic director :worthy: Absolutely beautiful work of art 8-)

Apologies for not making it - I was warming up the bike, thinking something doesn't sound right. Sounded like a tank, thought an exhaust manifold had cracked, but it turned out to be a nice big rust hole, must have blown out on starting the bike up.

So that's 4 stock exhausts I have gone through, albeit on 2 bikes  ...

And it probably would have been my only meet of this year
