 Post subject: engine warning light

help, i just fired up my uly after being sat in the shed wired up to an optimizer and as soon as shes running the engine light comes on, i took it up the road and light still on, the bike seems to lack power and seems to be running a bit ruff, the bike has been stood for about 5 months, any ideas anyone? any info will be much appreciated, thanks

hi pash,when you say read the code, what exactly do you mean? and what sort of software would i need, thank you for reply, and coco, its got fresh fuel in it, was running lovely last time it was used, the bike has only 4000 miles from new, and regularly serviced, its baffling me, well, it doesnt take much hahahahaha

evening all, well, tonight i done the manual test to find the fault codes with me mate, and its come up with code 21 which is a bit strange cause it says thats for a xbs only....... so im really stuck now hahahaahah, could anyone shed some light on this please, i have videod the light flashing and been counting it all bloody night, and it still says code 21 lol

I think that means 12's only not 12 S ie not applicable to 9's ;)

21 is the exhaust servo.......does your bike still have the standard muffler ?
