OK,done around 500 miles on grumbly 2 love it ,oil pump drive gear is showing heavy signs of wear so pulled it tonight ,bloody good job i did :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: the wear is very heavy on one side n very light ont other

Did mine with a hacksaw and various files ( bastards) , as one slip with an electrical tool and you could be in deep shit.

Few more miles than mine then. 12,600 and hardly any wear on the oil pump drive gear.
I put a LH one in anyway.
Did my gear case with an angle grinder, belt sander, and finished off with a file and emery paper. :)
I did mask the gasket faces up, and seal everything up first though ;)
