Well....I do need one set of gaskets for my Blast for a top end re-build, but if it has to be two sets then so be it..... I am smiling at you Pash... :4roz: :4roz:

Isn't yours a 3.5" bore?

These are for a 3" bore I think...

All I know is that the Buell Blast is half a Sportster engine..... :sad1:

I'm a bit thick when it comes to tech stuff. :oooops: Just know I need just half a set of Sportster gaskets to rebuild my Blast.... I've got the engine parts, just need the gaskets. :yup: :sun:

blasts are 3.5 babe not the 3.s that pash is off loading ,i bought a barrel n piston n oil pump from the states for reference

Major oil leak. Have bought a replacement top end of engine, and hoping to just swop it in to see if it fixes the issue. Have tried many different options....now wondering if there is a hairline crack in head, so total swop on cards to test this theory out.

You only need 3 gaskets,2 push rod cover O rings, an intake seal and an exhaust gasket.......cheap as chips and BB will have them all in stock (maybe)......dont buy a 'kit' as it'll be well expensive and contain loadsa stuff you just dont need :)

Is the oil leaking external to the engine, i.e. can you see it dripping down? Can you see where it is coming from?

Pash, bike has been back to Tubbs and BB have had a look too.......the leak is from the top pushrod cover O ring area but nobody has been able to cure it :?
I'd love to see the bike myself, as I'm convinced it's a simple fix ?
