It will probably cost the same to chop it as it would to make it a decent Buell.I wish I had bought my Lightning with all the extras in the first place. I.e forcewiwinder, Corbin seat, carbon fibre, exhaust etc. it would have been cheaper in the long run! :headbang:

A crime to think for the first 15yrs it has basically sat in a storage room, buy it ride the fuck out of it, leave it in no fit state for the next lucky person to own it once you no longer can- its a motorcycle not an artifact to be worshiped,
I see a Harley mentality here developing of more time washing than riding - owners and riders being two different things. Don't understand people who own bikes and rarely ride them :headbang:

I think the story was that the guy who originally bought it new fell off it, scared himself, then left it in a garage for some years before it was fixed! :roll:
