Sept 2000 XI lightning millenium edition no 417 of 800, 3150 genuine documented miles with full history just had a full service by Harley Newcastle and new tyres and battery.Many upgrades fitted,full Pro one exhaust system,pro one airbox and K and N air filter,upgraded ignition system,Corbin seat and various carbon fibre fittings,mech engineering alloy oil tank and upgraded drive belt.
This is the nearest thing to buying a new X1,Reasons for sale i am 5ft 8 and the bike is to tall for me i am 62 and thought i would like a more exciting bike i have only been in 5th gear twice so far.The bike is fantastic but needs to go to someone who can use the performance to the full which i cannot.
Offers over 4k please.

I'd say that's a steal for £4k ( I'd buy it myself, on the spot, if anything happened to mine ) although most members would probably shoot me down here.

I've customised my own Millennium ( I bought one new in 2000 and then two of my neighbours liked it so much they bought one each as well so, between the 4 of us, we bought 4 of the 20 or so of these models that came into the UK via HD out of the 800 that were made for worldwide sale ) in different ways and wouldn't part with it for £8k. I regard it as the modern equivalent of a Vincent Black Shadow albeit with MUCH more power and better handling and brakes and they don't make em any more ...... :worthy:

I'd agree entirely that a Tuber is 'the thinking mans' Vincent - but they do still make them (at a price ;) :D )
