Just to put you all at ease - The bike has only had one owner and that's me. I purchased it from new. I maybe a new member, but have been to the site many times and read the forums.

Its not just the distance, I'm pretty tied up for the next couple of weeks so its the timing as well.
I'm hopefully gonna make it over to that Buell meet up next weekend for a few hours, and thats the only spare time I'm going to have till the week after, maybe if its still about in a couple of weeks I'll get a chance to go have a look.
Other thing is I'm in no mad rush, I've got the XR and a Softail here.

I travelled 300 miles to view my S1. I was in Canada, the bike was in the USA.
Best gas money that I ever spent, apart from the 30,000 odd miles worth that I've put in the bike. :sun:

If only I could ride it, I'd buy that bike in a heartbeat! It'd be my third 99 M2 and selling the other two killed me :( Having refitted two, I'd know exactly what to do with this one :) If only...

I picked my 1125R up from Dundee, left at 11am in the morning and got back at 6am the next morning (900 miles round trip). I watched the sun set over Glasgow at 10pm and rise over Northampton at 4am. One of the most memorable trips I've done and a great start to owning the Buell. Don't let distance put you off the right bike! :D
