Hope it was a most excellent day for you all. Sorry I missed it, but my 93yr old mother was ill (too much sun while gardening apparently) and by the time the Doc had been to see her, it was too late to set off  She's fine now and I'm in the doghouse for making a fuss and calling the Doc  lOl

Hello Again Chris!

On behalf of a few Italian bike owners, many, many thanks for inviting us to yet another superbly organised event - bikes and planes will always be a special combination and it works so well with the good Lincolnshire roads to enjoy as well.

320 miles, my round trip total today - even the bit of rain on the way home could not mar the day.

Best Regards - Frank

I'm a regular lurker on Ducati Up-North. The tech section is very good and has helped a lot with my Duc :yup:

Great day out as usual. Disappointing turn out at the shop but one pint sized Jock is worth a dozen fat Buellers (thanks, Dunk :yup: ) An emotional ride through Welney Wash making some noise for Yoffi then bumped into BA, FS, Millsy, Ash, Leigh and the kids on a similar mission.

Far bigger turnout than expected from the posts we had seen on here with a few notable exceptions. Adam, your apology accepted, Onanist, yours isn't lOl and disappointed not to see :maz: although I'm sure his reason was good. Great to see a couple of visitors from Switzerland but sorry I didn't speak to you. Also great to see Burning Chrome who we last saw leaving the campsite in Lauwe heading for Germany. He ended up in Slovenia and 4400 mls later landed back in the UK yesterday and made it to East Kirkby  Some serious commitment made by many including Crabbitbear riding over from Northern Ireland (thanks for the cake, Frankie) and Matron, t965m and Norrie from Scotland. All round the best company anyone could ask for.

Thanks to Mojomick for deputising for Maz and finding fault with my S1W. Front cylinder head broken in two places where it attaches to the Spondon mount. The aforementioned mount is made of stern stuff so the front rocker cover resting against it got me home taking it easy (still only passed by one vehicle in 140 mls lOl ) despite the fears of many.

As usual special thanks to CJ and Jane for making it all happen, checking everyone in and doing the counting. You two amaze me :4roz:

Love you all 8-)

Steve

A few things that struck me yesterday; apart from about a zillion flies
There are still plenty of peeps that are willing to travel many miles to meet up with like minded folk. There are still plenty of cracking Buells in the country if that lot was just a selection.
There were no 1125 models :oooops:
Many UKBEGgers still attend despite not being on or owning a Buell now.
And last but not least how much I enjoy the company of UKBEG. ( and my new KTM chum :oooops: ) Great to see everyone even if I didn't get round to speak to all or even meet all and big thanks to Claire's laterooms.com agency sourcing accomodation with Max and Goldy :yup:
Good to see Ash on Barney, Claire on the Bee'sting' and Mags back on two wheels :yup: and Richies new hair style, willy's new seat which doesn't look anything like a baboon's arse.
I'm trying to upload some photos but this new photobucket is not annoying at all. grrrrr :headbang:
