What a grand day out Gromit! CJ and Jane you are legends :worthy: . Yesterday was yet another reminder of why we love being Buelligans so much. It was so good to catch up with old friends and to meet some new ones too. The flying displays were second to none and totally breath taking. It does the heart good to see such a good turn out of Buells and all the other marques, also to see Barney ably piloted by Ash. I must admit it was funny to see a few surprise faces when I rocked up the beautiful Beastie...................... Mr Meanwell you got off lightly, I will aim better next time  lOl .

Is it Deliverance yet?

Well that's me just home. Had a fantastic time with some great company and can't wait until next year.
I must cut down on my alcohol intake though as I was very unwell this morning and not a nice way to ride a bike.

Super weekend, BBQ at Sarah and Marks Friday night, A really great ride up to East Kirkby on Saturday astride Barney. It was a real treat and privilege to have ridden Em's bike up and represent her presence there.

The bike was faultless and of the M1's I have owned and ridden, it its actually the nicest, most well behaved and best handing of them all, a real treat to ride. Had a huge grin when I got off, while greeting Chris and Jane at the gate.

Super to see lots of good friends and meet a few more, the fly by's were excellent. The ride home was a sored arsed affair but still didn't stop the smiles. Millsy and I just kept exchanging knowing glanced as we rode, feeling each others pain, while Mark just cruised on his Suzuki sofa!

Nice meal out Sat night and another BBQ breaky this morning and home again in light traffic.

Thanks to everyone that made it so special. To Jane and Chris for their super organising and putting the day on, you are both amazing people! To Mark and Sarah for the warm hospitality, sorry about the kids! to Millsy, Steve and Dunk for the company up and back and to Willy for well ... just being Willy!

I'm still smiling :D 8-)

I suppose it was for you staring up at the sky from your pram during the war, seeing all the formations, then filling your nappy! lOl

When you have so much, it's only fair to share.

Well, that is us back home now, after our first ever Ems day. What can I say...

A big massive thank you to Rik & Tigs for putting us up (& putting up with us!), we had a great weekend at your lovely home.

Tigs - you did a Sterling job, leading us all there and back - apologies to Rik, Tony and Goldy, you were very patient, even though we had mobility scooters overtaking us! The birthday BBQ for Ryan in the evening was fabby too...Goldy - you have been hiding your light under a bushel!! Outstanding handmade breads - they are going to go down a storm with Crabbit Bears chutneys at Deliverance!!

To stand in a disused airfield, surrounded by Buells and Buelligans, is just one of the most special feelings ever - pure joy, contentment and peace. My happy place, is wherever there are Beulligans...can't wait to get Buelled up again in two weeks at the country estate of Lord and Lady Broon

CJ & Jane well done, it was a spectacular event :worthy:

Seeing Ash ride in on Barney was the highlight of the day - that sight made so many people gasp with delight, it was really special - nice one :yup: and Ash - your kids are adorable, make sure we see you all at Deliverance in two weeks, stop all this drama queen shite about them being a bother, they were brilliantly behaved and even I enjoyed their company - and I am highly allergic to children!!

We rounded off our trip by dropping back into the Emporium to deliver Bob into the tender loving care of her Uncle Maz. Unfortunately, she is a bit poorly at the moment, but she will be all well again soon. On the plus side of this, we got to see grumpy twice, and we had the ability to help out a stranded biker on the way home. 3 miles shy of Southwaite, we found a chap with a broken down Honda 400, which he had just picked up after buying it on Fleabay to ride it home. On chatting to him on the hard shoulder, I discovered that he comes from the same town as us - you could have knocked me down with a feather!! It was fun watching himselfs' face, at the thought of stripping down and reconstructing the moto-lug trailer again :run:
