Yes folks its that time of year again........THE ANNUAL SNOWDONIA TT :P
(tourist terrorising) ride lOl
This involves generally razzing around some of the best motorcycling and most scenic mountain and coastal roads in the country, go fast, go slow but make lots of noise and have fun. Cafe breakfast, pub lunch. :yup:
Please let me know if you're interested, all bikes welcome. I have a spare double room if anyone wants to stay over, you're very welcome.
Keep an I on the thread and I will update with accurate forecasts for weather over the next few days.
The route will depend on weather, if a bit unsettled we can do a coastal ride down the Lleyn peninsula. Last year a shit forecast put people off but those who stuck it out rode thru 1/2hr of wet to find themselves riding over sun drenched headlands to a pub on the beach :sun: The mountains create a localy unique weather patterns.
Meet at The Stables Bistro 10.30am (next to Cotswolds and the Royal Oak hotel) Betws y Coed. Its easy to find on the main high st thru the village, the A5, about 1 1/2 hrs from Liverpool / manchester areas and 2 from Brum.
It would be great to see old and new friends a like 8-)
Rich.

The forecast for fri thru to sat night is for very heavy rain midlands, north west, and north wales. :(
Sunday is better but mountain forecast is for low cloud and the odd showers, coastal areas such as Anglesey and Lleyn peninsula the same.
This means at best damp roads and a good chance of getting wet.
So......as there is nowt on the ukbeg calender for next sunday and the long term forecast is much better.
What do folks reckon to same plan but Sunday 15thinstead.
Let me know Rich :yup:

Ya big bunch of wusses. I got soaked to the gussets last year, did I complain? I've MOT'd, changed the oil, even bought new spark plugs.

Where do I send the bill?

Can't make the 15th doing my hair :sad1:
