Yea thought that untill needed the distance then fitted a manta with inch bar risers for switch clearance and was supprised with the look. easy to swap back .

Small is sexiest because with it on the bike looks fantastic from all angles, the manta looks good from almost every angle, with the 97s skinny body work, it doesn't look as good front on

Just another quick comment, the small tank gives the impression that the bike is mostly engine with minimal bodywork bolted on, one of the things that attracted me to the bike when I bought her new back in the 90s.
Not sure where the 'ladyboys' thing came from, due to the reason just given , the bike looks more aggressive with the small tank. :D

IMO the small tank is best with S1 bodywork (Except the white ones which seem to get away with it) and the big one with late M2/ S3 etc. When I have the big tank on my M1 it feels like my knees are too splayed and on a slim bike makes it feel less sporty. The final nail in the coffin is that you either have to have high bars or tilt them too far forward.
So I'm not a happy bunny at the mo' - having to use the big tank and my superbike low bars tilted forward - because my small tank is peppered with half golf ball sized bubbles and lifting decals!
I can't really justify £650 for an ally tank right now and my original idea to skin the tank in glass fibre is stalled for lack of experience - did someone say that an ally cover might be a possibility or was I dreaming that?

Hi to you all, we hope you all had a good christmas.

We just wanted to up date you all on progress and say sorry we have not been in touch.

We hoped to have some deliveries before christmas but this did not happen as we had planned, we had a few illnesses, and equipment problems but we are now getting back on track and we are very close to completion.

Everytime Tony thinks he has everything ready to go - another component of the tank needs to be made.

Regarding the fixings front and rear have now had machined from billet as fabricating them has proved to be too time consuming. So the rear fixings will arrive this afternoon & the front fixings will be completed next week.

Tony has been making the other parts for all the tanks and obviously we have had to make a living at the same time, but we thank you for your patience and we will update with photos shortly.

I will contact people individually but wanted to contact you all now.
