Very much a work in progress, we've made a start on the UKBEG 2014 Events Diary: here

It only shows the confirmed dates at the moment. If you have details of any events that would be of interest to UKBEG members please let us know and we'll update the diary.

Em's Day 2014, UKBEG's main event, has moved from its traditional July date and now takes place on Monday 26th May, Spring Bank Holiday.

Why Have you moved Em's day mate?
I think you will get a poor turnout being on a Monday as I know for myself I will need to take the Monday and Tuesday off work now if I can get it off.

Norrie - Em's Day has moved for several reasons and while it might not be convenient for you it does take place on a Bank Holiday Monday, when most folk have the day off. I disagree with your comment about a poor turnout - we expect approx. 250 to 300 motorcycles.

The Aviation Centre also holds their 'American Air Day' event on that date so we have the added attraction of air displays, with P-51 Mustangs etc.

Chris & Jane :yup:
Keep up the good work, the bank holiday date combined with the American air day sounds really good
And should generate lots of interest from a wider audience.

:sad1: This could be the first Em's Day I miss. Its bad for my annual leave between May and September as summer leave is set in stone. At the moment I'm on night shift for that date. :(

Sorry about that Claire - :4roz:

Choosing event dates that fit in with everyone isn't easy and I know we have quite a few shift workers within our ranks - apologies to all concerned if you're affected by our choice of date for next years Em's Day.

Yeah no problem Chris and I do appreciate you organising it. :worthy: It was just my opinion.
I think it's just it's been in July for so long I always have that time booked off along with Deliverence and it doesn't clash with anything else.

Will still be there mate to support the good cause and to meet up with some amazing people. :yup:

I'll organise another couple of snowdonia meets again, one april, one september, I'm flexible on dates.
Moving the september ride this year due to foul weather worked well as we eventually had a good turnout. :yup:

I wear a shift to work, Mrs Dusty doesn't know, but I am glad to be outed at last.
