I have a problem with logging in, as I have to manually log in into the forum each time after I closed the browser, although the "autologin" checkbox is marked. I'm sure this has something to do with my new Firefox settings, but I do not know, where to look next.

Firefox V 26.0 for Linux Mint 13.

My settings are
- to accept cookies
- to never accept third party cookies
- to keep cookies until firefox is closed
- and an exception for ukbeg.com is added which allows to keep (?) cookies

I am using this kind of setup for ages now and it was all fine until I accidently marked "start Firefox in a private session" (... and back again). Since then my old setup seems not working any more.

Any ideas anyone?

Edit: I also have ghostery and adblock installed, but currently disabled

I use firefox on Windows and Safari on my Mac (main machine) and both are fine. No idea bout Linux as I have never used it.

There must be a Linux support forum about somewhere?

Problem solved the hard way: I deleted the old profile and Firefox created a new one, and now it works as before. Heaven knows (or not ) why ...
