Hi all, have recently installed a stealth exhaust on my '07 Ulysses. Happy enough with fit and finish and a big improvement over the eyesore that was the original item. Just 2 questions;
1. i love the sound but unfortunately my wife and neighbours are not too fond of it. Was wondering if anyone had ever tried to fit a baffle on it. Have tried contacting mr. stealth to no avail.
2. As predicted low rpm throttle response is not great. With a breather re route and k and n filter it would run fine with standard can in traffic, but now its quite hard to moderate low speeds. What are my options here regarding a remap or a new ecm?

From my experience, remapping very often will not cure such kind of problems, as their root cause is the decreased amount of air aspired, because of the modified muffler. The mixture might be too rich now, so reducing fuel might help a bit, but not too much. At low rpm acceleration enrichment is quite large, so before struggling with the fuel maps, I would try to change that.

I had the exact same set up and downloaded the Buell race map into the ECU. It may not have been the perfect set up but the bike went like stink. I was happy with it. I was just about to do some fine tuning when I sold the bike.

As for fitting a baffle, I can't see how that could be done on the Stealth.

Thanks for that guys. Will be poring over ecmspy in the next few weeks. As for the baffle I was thinking it may be possible to drill a small hole on the underside of the exhaust and fit a generic baffle. Somebody on her recently posted up a link for a company that makes them...

I found that the Stealth got better on my 06 City X after around 150 miles and longish runs. An 07 Uly should also adapt to a degree?

Was going to try fitting a Db killer before I replaced Stealth with an XB12 R muffler.
Never got around to looking at the fueling though so good luck.

Was thinking along those lines also. Have only done about 50 or so miles since fitting it due to continous rain and high winds over here.

Can you fart in lumps ?

Cauliflower "au gratin" and Pork with Naga Chillies has a similar effect.
