Thanks for the update Chris, it's looking good, may well turn out to be a very special weekend.

With that in mind, may I suggest that this year, you and Jane take a few hours off from working on the gate on Em's day and spend some time enjoying yourselves with the rest of the members and guests.

I'm sure there are enough trustworthy members who would not mind in the least giving up an hour of there own time, on a rota basis, to meet and greet. I would like to put my name forward to do a stint.

Richie - we'll definitely take you up on that very kind offer. If we get the number of riders expected we will need an extra pair of hands on the gate especially during the busy period between 10.00 and 13.00 hrs. Once it quietens off, as long we have someone from UKBEG manning the gate to cover late arrivals, Jane and I will be able to make the most of what should be a very special day.
