Today's Newark show was a great way to start the year. We met up with Kev, Ronnie and William from UKBEG plus friends from the Italian Motorcycle Owners Club.

There was the usual interesting collection of classic machinery plus an engine run-up display featuring a Suzuki RG500 and a Norton .....Steve Plater provided the commentary.

To round the day off nicely I bought (at an excellent price ) Jane and Barney a late Christmas present, a pair of TEC remote-reservoir rear shocks to replace the well used 88,500 mile units Barney still has fitted.

Great day and good to meet up with CJ Jane Willy the pink and Barney .... bought a few bits and bobs but nothing expensive for a change .
This show is a great start to the year and the fact that about 80% of it is undercover makes it a great day even if it does happen to rain. There was some fantastic machinery there as normal and considering it is only it's third year seems very well organised.

Well Newark was on both Sat and Sun so that is no excuse for not going

would have done but work in morning and my so n was to play rugby in pm . by the time the game was called off it was too late

great to catch up with folk.... ukbegers and locals von did good ...got highly commended ,bike press turned up and asked von if they could take photos of his bike..........the reporter has met von before at meals we have enjoyed in louth..........so ....the photos...von told them to fuk off as there parasites making money out of peoples hard work .....then reqested five quid a photo and a pound for every copy they sold for using his bike in the magazine then verbly abused the reporter and photographer some more .......aparently the photographers face was a picture von did relent somewhat when the reporter asked if he could come over to vons ..von said yes

forgot to mention von did relent for one photo ....vons bike in front of the goldie stand and display with ALL the members and peeps who set it up ...and were there all weekend looking after it and folk
