things moveing nicely ......the blue dot represnts were i will fit an adjuster to tension the toothed belt.a thoothed belt is being used so i dont have to preload it to drive effectively ....like a v belt needs

more.........in this pic you will notice its a thin plate being used to set the postion of the altinator .an 8 or 10 mm dural plate will be used.... moveing the altinator outwards more in line with the outside of the drive pulley...now the plate will be spaced off the cover by spacers so these will made to suit to line the pullys up ... the three holes used for the mounting plate might be taken out to 5/16 unc for extra streneth ...i have looked at the viabilaty of this and its ok

Miles away from frame....gonna be close ,Iwill know better when iI've got a full sprocket set to play with .if we go two to one the altinator will only do around 3000 RPM as I hope to have a red line at 6250 Max hope fully less

Can you remind me why you're doing this, Will? Is there an inherent problem with the standard XB charging system, or did yours fail in such a way that this is a superior solution?
