We now have everything arranged for the UKBEG/EBR WSB Donington weekend, Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th May.

We're going to go with their normal advance ticket prices (other than the weekend ticket*) and use their on-line or phone booking facility. This keeps it simple for us because we don't have to collect any money and members can book direct at their leisure. Jane and I will buy 'Super Weekend' tickets so we can make the most of the weekend.

The good news is that we've managed to arrange a dedicated Buell enthusiasts parking area - it will be within the red zone marked on the picture below. We'll be ideally placed for pedestrian access to Redgate, Hollywood, Craner Curves and the Pit Lane/Paddock. In our reserved area there will be a UKBEG van with an awning and Jane will lay on hospitality for members, with cold drinks and nibbles etc. We will also provide a safe area for members to leave their riding kit.

You won't need a pass to access the UKBEG parking area, just look for the Buell banners etc. when you enter the main motorcycle park. I'll post additional details when I know exactly where in that red zone we'll be located.

Donington came good in the end and I think it was seeing a copy of the UKBEG/EBR Em's Day poster that finally persuaded them that the Spring Bank weekend is going to be a BIG one for Buell enthusiasts. Although we're going to spend the whole weekend with Pash, we're really looking forwards to it ......

We just await announcements from Erik Buell Racing and Team Hero EBR regarding WSB Donington and in particular, Em's Day. We don't know when they will appear but at least we now have everything in place for UKBEG at both events. Edwin Belonje of EBR Europe has been extremely helpful and we're lucky to have such a proactive guy on board.

All that remains to do now is to get our publicity machine cranked up. We already have the Em's Day posters in A3 size and 1000 A4 flyers will be with us next week. To clarify, we've set aside a small budget to cover these costs, we're not using web site funds or being supported financially by EBR.

In the next month or so we'll be clocking up the miles as we visit various dealers, independents and motorcycle events/meets to distribute this material. The response so far from the wider Buell and Italian motorcycling community has been excellent and we haven't really got started yet.

Chris if you need anyone in the South East to go round some dealerships with flyers or posters I would like to volunteer there is a few ducati dealers not far away and some guzzi ones, also my local bike shop Bikestop is very popular I'm sure they would oblige.

Hi CJ JJ, I've just printed a few A3 posters and they look well cool. If it's ok with you I will take them to the local independents next week, MOT waiting area pin/notice boards etc. where there is a good flow though of 'real' bikes.......lets get this party started.

More good news .....

Donington have kindly agreed to offer a 10% discount on the weekend ticket with no stipulation on numbers required.

Our unique booking code is EBR2014 and only applies to the weekend ticket. All other types of tickets and options remain at the normal price.
