Didn't go with their travel insurance but the poor old S1W is now too old to qualify :?

Be careful what you believe, Pash. Purple/Parkway Blue.......not much to choose between them lOl Last time S1W was seen in public it was suffering from severe ripple effect. It isn't anymore although I do have a plastic bag full of the remains of the last paint job which was peeled off the tank in sheets. :o

Mine's still collecting salty fur in my garage. I never got chance to wash it off before I left.

I've just received the following message from Karen and Marnix regarding this years B-day ,basically they want to meet us all at Cassel and take us on the scenic route to Lauwe with a nice little stop off on route ... we just need to decide on a meeting time for them at Cassel.
here's the message.

Hi Kev, how are you? For the 10th edition of B Day, Twinpower has a suggestion: they'd like to join the UKBEGers at Cassel and in stead of taking the highway to Lauwe, they'd propose to make a ride to the Menenpoort at Ypres and make a stop in Passendale"s cemetery to remind WW1, would this be Ok for the UKBEGers? If OK, when would you be in Cassel? Grts Karen

With the hour ahead tagged on, most of us are in the cafe at Cassel around noon ish.
We could wait around until 1.30pm or so for latecomers, then head out.
Just my 2 cents worth..............

I thought you were Mick the Map, since when Mick the chronoMeter? Sounds spot on to me although might be worth making it 30 mins earlier to allow for the ride, the sightseeing and then getting on the beers by 4.00 pm
