Buell X1 Lightning 2002

Buell X1 Lightning owned by myself for the last five years during which time I have put on approx. 9000 miles. This is a great bike thoroughly maintained and ridden regularly (until I bought the SMT).

Black bodywork with Nuclear Blue frame and black wheels
Originally PM alloy wheels which I swapped for standard Buell wheels which I re-powdercoated black. Fitted with Pirelli Diablo tyres
New fork lowers with polished tops and polished yokes
Twin EBC Prolite front brake conversion with Brembo Goldspot calipers and braided hoses (larger Buell MC)
Hidden rear brake caliper with Brembo caliper and braided hose
Buell Traction grips
CRG roll-a-click shorty levers
Polished Buell Pegasus instrument panel
Carbon fibre inserts to tank
Buell Pegasus seat
Polished rear subframe
Polished de-lugged swingarm
Fuel injection system removed and replaced with Mikuni 42mm carb and Crane single fire ignition
Cut down and polished cam cover
Bronze oil pump drive installed at approx. 6k miles
Rizoma front pulley cover
Polished rear pulley with elongated apertures
Full American gearing with an electronic speedo healer
Forcewinder air cleaner
Full Buell Pro-race exhaust system with uprated hangers front and rear
Polished exhaust headers
AST shock
Polished rocker covers and uprated gaskets
Banke footcontrols
Alloy undertray
Rizoma indicators front and rear
Rizoma mirrors to handle bars
Swapped the X1 bars for M2 bars as they are slightly more comfortable
All bearings are good (swapped the headrace bearings approx 3000 miles ago)

This bike has had regular oil and filter changes and maintained regardless of cost
10 months MOT and currently SORN

I will get some pictures taken asap

Can you confirm that this bike is slower than Pash's S1 Grenade?

Oh and what price?

Considering Pash's S1 had a massive weight disadvantage I'd say his was faster. However the X1 was the only faultless Buell on the S1 challenge :D

It is when you've spent as much as I have on it and know you'll never get it back.
