Here's the photos I took. Good to meet up yesterday, see you all at Donington. Correction, the photos are too big to add. I'll put them in the hot wash and try again, bloody compooters :headbang:

I am so, so, looking forward to WSBK Weekend, and Emsday,

Just gets better and better this summer, many thanks to CJ and his little other half, and of course, Steve L. and all the staff at BB.

Had a great day and evening yesterday, big thanks to Chris and Jane who did a sterling job in giving me my annual burger, also to Mr Loxton who did extremely well in the fact he had a poorly leg.
I got to meet a few people I hadn't met before, graeme1203 and daveh.

Also a big thanks to the usual suspects for making it a great evening. 8-)8-)8-)

Thanks again Steve, CJ and JJ for another great meet up. :worthy:
Lots of fun with the evening gang too. ;)

I stopped by the Ace on the way home to hook up with Pete (XB4RT) and have a mooch around the Rocket 111 owners meet. Plenty of bikes there to look at, despite the weather.
A very wet ride home, but now that I'm out of the shower, all is right with the world again. :sun:

BTW Richie, my feet and socks were bone dry when I took off my (Stylmartin) paddock boots. :yup:

What a great day again 8-) thanks again to CJ and Jane for all the hard work and the very tasty burgers 8-) .......... great to meet up with folk again and a fantastic evening out organised by hopalong Loxton ;) Hope the leg soon heals up mate. had a dry ride both ways as the rain that looked to be threatening as we left Newmarket gave way to dry weather but very very windy the nearer we got to Lincolnshire.
I must say the Rutland bar staff are miserable fuckers though lOl

A bit late to respond but thanks to Steve and all at Black Bear for allowing UKBEG to hold this event and for providing all the food :worthy:....

Jane :4roz: cooked 100 burgers and 92 of them were eaten. It was a busy day so we didn't get to mingle properly until late afternoon. I think we missed most of the Buells that turned up but I'm told there were probably around 40 in total.

To round the day off nicely our Ulysses won the Best Buell award :P...

A few pictures from late in day with some :sun: ....

What a fantastic turnout 8-) Thanks to everyone for travelling such long distances to support our event. Sorry I didn't circulate as much as usual but my gout was playing me up lOl (Cheeky bastid, DaveH, it's cellulitis and apparently potentially life threatening lOl )

As CJ has already proudly declared he won the Best Buell award on this occasion. There were some stunning bikes there but most had gone by judging time (must make it earlier than 1600 in future to allow for those who have a long way to travel home  )

SillyB's stunning X1 was still there but as he won last year it seemed fair to go to another home. CJ's XB12X has now done around 40,000 miles I believe and he has kept it pristine throughout. It has just undergone a winter refurb where a few items which have suffered the ravages of time have been powder coated in a very fetching Thrust Blue. And besides, he and Jane put so much into organising events for this motley crew and spent all day cooking so they deserve some recognition.

Image

Chris was also so busy helping out with the catering that he was unable to perform his traditional headcount. I have dug deep into my grey cells to try to recall those who were there but apologies to anyone who I missed. By my reckoning there were in excess of fifty people there on at least 31 Buells. Of those I reckon that twelve of them were X1s and the remainder split fairly evenly between other tubers and XBs. I don't recall seeing a single 1125.

Those present were:- CJ and Jane, Spartan117, Buell Abusa and Fat Slag, Robin and Janice, Dunk1976 and Sarah, SillyB, Jill Brown and Ade, Kevmean and Ronnie, Mojomick, Richie, Spondon440, DaveH, XB4RT, Willy Buell, Pepper, Mr Waff, Blackcab John, Graeme1203, Mac, Chris Dellow and Nik, Coco, Albert666 and Shelly, Barney, S1nner, Dark Horse, Lorraine Godfrey and Del, Jill Brown Mk2, Cheezy, Clever Trevor, Pete Parrott, Cooter, Dilligaf, Navi8tor, Thunderer, Goldy and Max and PedroW. I also saw at least three X1s, an M2 and an S3T which I'm struggling to associate with owners. Please let me know anyone else I might have missed.

Special thanks to those who stopped around to make it such a fun evening as well although don't believe Richie's tales of partying the night away. I think Mojomick and I were the last ones standing and we were tucked up (in our own beds!) by 1 o'clock.

Steve

There was at least one red 1125R there Steve which I think belonged to a young couple.
