We're 'out of office' now and won't have access to this web site or e-mails until we return home on Tuesday afternoon. Our contact number over the weekend is 0792 626 5582.

We hope everyone has a safe ride/drive to Em's Day & WSB Donington.

Just got back from day one
Rode up from Banbury via a423 quick blast along m69 then a5 then a444 and a42 for last bit
Weather held out whilst there. Terrible organisation in getting tickets and finding where we were supposed to be parked. Even got let into paddock area on bike even though I had no tickets or passes Helped Chris n Jane with the gazebo then went for a look around
Found Steve and we were let into the ebr hospitality
Got drenched on way home
Back tomorrow for more

Back at home following another drenching on the way home. Good to put some faces to the forum members.

Grand bit of racing in the sunshine today. Good to see some dry racing, with good British placings

Thanks to CJ and Steve for the brilliant organisation and access to the EBR Hero team hospitality. :yup:

What a great weekend so far 8-) ............... Set off in torrential rain on Saturday to find out that Altberg Hoggs ARE totally waterproof but Rukka gear isn't lol . Arrived at Donnington and found CJ had set up camp in a very easy to find spot as he was just at the entrance to the bike park area so if you followed the signs for motorcycle parking you could not miss him.
The CR ran faultlessly all weekend and it was fantastic to get to share the Hero EBR hospitality starting off with coffee and a chat in the afternoon and then back into their hospitality unit at 6PM and then taken in groups to the team garages to have a close look at the bikes and to get a few photos ( guess which knob left his camera on the table in hospitality and had to get somebody else to take photos for him :oooops: ) we then were treated to an excellent meal that Steve had arranged for us in Team Hero EBR 8-) . I think it was about 8-30pm when we left the paddock to head for our hotel just down the M1 , our Travelodge was very cheap but a little tatty around the edges but was a welcome place to get the gear dried out from earlier in the day. Forecast as we left the hotel this morning was for torrential showers again but the day turned out dry because I bought a new Umbrella lOl fantastic days racing and great to meet up with everybody. I don't think any of us will be able to thank CJ and Jane enough for all the hard work they put into this 8-) We had a totally dry ride home with glorious sunshine for a lot of it .

WSB Donington was a real buzz. OK, the weather could have been better but it wasn't a total washout, we did enjoy lots of sunshine on Sunday for the racing, as many glowing faces will testify :D ....

As others have mentioned, EBR Europe really did us proud on Saturday evening with a proper Italian meal and a totally unexpected visit to their pit garage to see the Team Hero EBR race team and bikes. It really was the ultimate Buell enthusiasts weekend :P :P ......
