I'll second that.

Didn't get chance to chat to many folks yesterday. See you all again at the Emporium.

I got the impression that Chris, Jane and Steve really enjoyed the weekend which is well deserved. I still didn't get to meet or say hello to all I meant to but like all others have said Thanks guys for a cracker this weekend. Next year maybe we'll see the naked 1190s with suitably attired attendant lOl :worthy: :worthy: :worthy:

That's me home safe after a cracking weekend. I was good to catch up with the Raptor crowd and the Buell crowd at the same time. As usual I drunk to much and stayed up to late but then It's not like I do it every weekend.

See you all again at Adam's in August as it seemed like everyone I spoke to is going. I understand it will be a double celebration as the old guy is retiring. :old:

What a fantastic day to round off an amazing weekend 8-) a very good turn out as well with I think it was about 56 Buells + the 4 EBR bikes.
The work CJ and Jane put in for us motley crew is nothing short of amazing as well 8-) . great to meet up with everybody again and looking forward to next year to see how the latest Buell chapter unfolds 8-) I must say the new RS was a very very nice piece of kit .
Muffin was running at his best as well and reminds me just what amazing bikes we all own, he was running that smooth and strong I'm beginning to think he might be just about run in now :D

After such a fantastic UKBEG weekend where do I start?

I'll start with this message from Erik Buell :worthy:, received after we'd left for Donington on Friday...

Chris,

I hope all is going well for you all. My apologies for the delay in answering; my workload is indescribable.

I am very sorry that I am unable to attend the UKBEG festival on Monday. The work here at EBR is very rewarding in that I am teamed with incredible people on the EBR team, and we are producing some truly great motorcycles that will be making many happy riders. On the other hand, I am unable to get out myself to spend time with dealers and riders, or even to go watch the races!

It is seriously on my list to attend the Emma Radford event one day. I think she exemplified the very best in people; the willingness to embrace life to the fullest, no matter the size of adversity. The fact that you all celebrate this joyful life of Emma, and use the celebration to contribute to helping others gives me a great feeling. I will see you one day there!

Very best,
Erik

Jane and I would like to thank everyone who attended Em's Day 2014 yesterday. The event attracted 290 motorcycles which included approx. 60 Buells. We raised £600 on the gate for Em's Charity and we'll have an additional amount to add to this from the special T-shirts that Pete (XB4RT) produced. We'll send a cheque off to Papworth Hospital in due course and post a copy of their thank you letter/receipt when we receive it.

Special thanks must go to Ronnie :4roz:, Kev, Frankie, Richie and William for helping out on the gate and with the Buell marquee.

I think it's fair to say that yesterday was one of the most successful Em's Days of recent years. Having the EBR Europe team there with the new 1190RX and the stunning 1190RS race replica certainly helped to boost attendance and we had glorious weather for the event itself. Pity the rest of the UK didn't enjoy the same and it seems most, if not all, riders hit some rain on their way to the event or on their way back home.

Here's a few pictures I took during the professional photo shoot I organised for EBR Europe with the 1190RS and the P-51 Mustang. Team Hero EBR rider, Aaron Yates together with his father really loved this part of the day because they're also into classic WW2 aircraft. On our way back off the airfield I also managed to sneak some photos with the Dakota...

Hopefully a few pics are available here. I am losing the plot with photobucket these days. I'm sure it was better before. It seems a lot easier uploading to facebook but not all are on there.
