I know I am being tight but it is costing a pretty penny to get the S3 through its MOT. The V&H has a crack running round the 90 degree angle section. Does anyone do or know a welder Cambridge way or should I just give up on it? If it's give up then does anyone have a muffler I could buy? I'm not precious about make or condition :D

That'll be OK, the springs will hold it together... lOl
It's repairable but it does look rather 'tired'.

I gave a reworked V&H to conquistador. May be worth a PM to get a piccy...

That would be an easy welding repair. However, find out why it cracked first and eliminate the cause. This is usually because the system is bolted up under some kind of stress. Take care with realignment before you bolt it up or it'll happen again ;)

Looks more like corrosion to me, Adam.

Yep, back in 2011 I think that was ... for the price of a drink as I remember :D

It's rock solid and been through 2 or 3 MOTs since :)

When it broke I thought I was gonna have to replace that elbow pipe, but now I reckon I can get another 10 years out of it :old:
