Hi UKBeg !

This is my little contribution of the 10th anniversary of the Belgian Buell Days in the UKBeg forum...

https://www.wetransfer.com/downloads/e06b46dc4e3d3de2a3baeb2a349dc78820140629104042/852936

Hoping the share link will work fine....

By this link... you could find in, photos of the meeting point in Cassel ( FR ), a short video of the arrival of the Belgians dudes, in Cassel, coming to us to open up & secure the road on the way to Lauwe ( , the organisation was great ! 8-) ), photos of the rememberance stop in Passendale, and some from the Belgian Buell Days in Lauwe..

You could also find a short video on the BBdays facebook page, when we all passed through the Arch in Ieper..

Hoping you will enjoy and that you have all do a good way back to UK with only dry clouds and no rain...

and that my english language is not too bad...
:oooops:

BB

Regards from France

Jess

Had a fantastic weekend in Lauwe. Thank you so much to the Belgian riders who seamlessly escorted 50 bikes through 40 miles of roads to Passendale, blocking off roundabouts, traffic lights etc. (there is something very satisfying about riding through red lights knowing that it was safe to do so... lOl )

The Blast ran like a dream...really enjoyed taking it to Lauwe. :yup:  :sun:

Wishing I had remembered to put my earplugs in on the return journey though....ears ringing now..

Glad you got back eventually Richie. I stopped at the Folkstone services for some more rehydration and the heavens opened.
A brilliant weekend and I can see why so many go back time and again. Excellent hopsitality from the Twin Power crew; nothing was too much trouble for them from the rideout, barbecue, and generaly making sure everyone had a great time and were well looked after. I even got to a strange combined hen and stag party, after the farm party in town that we stumbled upon which was bizarre Still serving at 5a.m. :yup: . Didn't get to bed till gone 6 am (Plenty of time to sleep when yer dead :old:) Made the ride home interesting; I had a fun explore around France on the way back which improved as my focussing got better. :D
The CR was faultless and makes a good bike for that trip, I did almost 700 miles on it :yup:

Another brilliant weekend with some of the best people on the planet. :sun:

We all know that a lot of hard work and planning goes into this event each year, to make it run so smoothly.
A big thank you to all the Twin Power crew and their friends for making us all feel so welcome. :worthy: :worthy:

Another 550 odd miles on the S1 and still running like a dream. A monsoon on the M25 coming home, couldn't dampen my spirits, as I had a little song that I was singing to myself. ;)
