I was proud of my Sabre Custom Engineering, but your one is loudest as me......... anyway.... French Police is not kind with loud exhaust.... and anyway I'm enjoyed my Sabre's mod exhaust , quiet & loud enough to my taste.... to wake up the Kent south coast & East Essex, when I will go back on the 14th September for the Ace Cafe burn out in Brighton 8-) ...

Perhaps I will see some of you there ;)

If you can Jess, try to go to Brighton on the Saturday too because it is the Brighton Speed Trials that day. It will make it a very good weekend :yup: I will be at sea all of September
Good to met you at the weekend (white 1125CR; also a bit loud :D )

It's an APH (albert) exhaust. http://www.aph-performance-engineering. ... bikes.html
Luckily noise is relative. ( my old relatives are deaf :D )

What a fantastic weekend with great people, my first but not my last. Loved every minute of it (maybe not the morning after!!!) sorry for waking a few up at silly o'clock :oooops: but felt it my duty to tell you all about the horrendous noises coming from the tents,as i don't ever do such noise  The night was made even better for winning the bike competition with EBR coming third, about only time i will beat a ebr :D Not sure how many miles we did but through wet then dry then wet then pissing down then dry. The twin power guys could not have been more organised from meeting us at Cassel with 50+ bikes riding through red lights stopping all traffic we did own the road  with no complications on to the Mennen gate then war cemetery and through to Lauwe. Tent up then rain but didn't dampen our spirits ;) Great time till next year thanks to all.

Can only echo what everyone else has said, especially about the effort put in by the Twin Power crew. Mention also needs to be made of Samara's presentation at the cemetry. I know I wasn't the only one feeling emotinal as she told the tale of her great, great grandfather spending seven weeks on a ship to get to a bloody battlefield where he was machine gunned. I can never ride through Flanders without a tear in my eye.

As for your first prize, SillyB, they really wanted to give it to the EBR but I said that it wouldn't be fair to give it to Erik when Maz deserved some recognition for that lovely powder coating lOl

Think I got lucky with the ride home because I only had a little rain around the Dartford Crossing and spray from the road for ten miles or so.

Another great weekend, it's a tough job but someone has to do it 8-)

Steve

I left home a few day's early, stayed over on the way to Folkestone with family and friends. Had a bit of bad luck on the trip after the Cassel stop, put the side stand into a pothole  went down and nearly head-butted the headers on the bike to my left. Left hand on the tarmac, foot trapped under bike the guy did the right thing and reversed his bike....straight over my fingers. Ruined my weekend as I was looking forward to a J Arthur Rank.

Any way's bike developed an engine rattle, for the last few miles to Lauwe, the guy's there (top people) organised a van to Calais, once I had sobered up a bit, the lad driving would not take a penny for the ride 8-)

Big Yellow taxi home, Deep6 was on the same train, so had someone to chat with....one of the good guy's :yup:

PS I would not change one moment, good or bad. :sun: :sun:
