Started as bleak as every other, but I just called at home & picked up my mail.

Nice brown envelope postmarked Douglas waiting on the mat ...... I now have my Manx Grand Prix Programme

It makes the long wait for a holiday more bearable, just over three weeks to go (no, I've not counted the sleeps) and Diggertours is GO....

Ferry docks at 6:30 pm from memory. So we'll be in Port St Mary within the hour and no doubt across shortly after that. I checked on Google Maps and the two Promenades are less than 2 miles apart. This is, of course, the plan - truth is I may not be able to walk after 250 miles with an S1 stuck up my derriere, but we can deal with that at the time, I am sure I can find a pub nearer than 2 miles away if I need to - where there is a will there is a way!.

Looks like there will be 12 of us visiting the isle, the Dirty Dozen indeed

Using a Uk mobile on the Island is expensive, I think you can buy sim cards locally if you intend making or receiving a lot of calls.

On the other hand, its a good excuse for not calling home.

Most certainly won't be calling home as we'll both be out

but I might just invest in one to keep in touch with the rest of the dirty dozen, particularly you & 3-Legs.
