Decided to go for a long ride today, and I'm now sitting in a hotel in Dusseldorf! (From London).

Bike held up really well averaging 80-90 all the way here. Had a quick break in Ypres and a few comfort stops but basically been in the saddle all day. No major issues, although I could cook a steak on the engine.

Now let's see if it'll make it back again!

Don't drink too much Altbier. Better to visit Cologne and get loads of Kölsch.

So, for anyone that's never been to Dusseldorf all I can say is go. In Antwerp tonight. Met the owner of AMS Harley today who is a top bloke. He put me in touch with his mate Eric who is also a top bloke and owns a bar in the Grotemarkt and also a secure garage. Bike safely ticked up and now enjoying the hospitality of the Cafe De Kroeg.

Antwerp is great. But for a nation famous for beer the majority if what I've tasted so far is pretty shit
