Following his debut at BSB Oulton Park, American Cory West, AMA Superbike rider, will again be riding the Splitlath EBR 1190 in the BSB Superstock 1000 race at Donington park, 5th to 7th September.

We'll be going on Saturday 6th to cheer on both Cory and the Splitlath team.

And I'll be in the paddock with an EBR1190RX and the first 1190SX in the country. You've got to meet the team too, a great bunch of guys. Come round and see us anytime on the Saturday or race day on Sunday

Steve

Steve, that's excellent news, being able to see the 1190SX for the first time is a real bonus.

As mentioned previously we're only able to attend BSB Donington on Saturday 6th but Jane will lay on free hospitality for UKBEG members who wish to come along to the paddock* and support Steve, Erik Buell Racing and the Splitlath team.

* The paddock is open to all and you don't require a separate pass.

Advance tickets for Saturday 6th cost just £10.50 each and can be booked here

Advance tickets for race day, Sunday 7th, cost £26.25 each.

The Donington web site states that on the gate prices will be slightly higher but, as of today, it doesn't give any exact figures.

Reminder that this event takes place at the weekend and Jane is providing free hospitality for UKBEG members on Saturday at the Splitlath/EBR unit in the paddock.

We'll try to save some for you, Bickers lOl I'll be there all weekend and tend not to wander too far from the transporter. I've taken delivery of my EBR1190SX today so you can be among the first people in the country to see that as well 8-)

Thanks once again to Steve and the Splitlath team for making us feel so welcome, we really enjoyed our visit to BSB Donington. You'll be glad to know there's plenty of sticky buns left for anyone that's going along tomorrow.

The new 1190SX looks neat and has a great riding position :P...

Left to right, Steve, Ronnie, Kev and Jane....

I had a chat with Cory about the brake and whether he thought it was Ok for racing and he said that he'd never found it to be an issue but some riders do if they are very very heavy on the brakes .
He said for his style of riding it was no different feel to any double disc setup ;)
