Krazy Horse, my EBR Dealer in Bury St Edmunds, are holding an EBR demo day tomorrow Saturday 13 September from 1000-1600.

You'll find them at Empire House, Lamdin Road, Lark Valley Business Park, Bury St Edmunds IP32 6NU.

We will have two EBR1190RXs out on demo. Please make sure that you have both parts of your driving licence with you. We will also have two EBR1190SXs which you can look at and sit on but as they have only been in the country a week they are not yet road registered. Sadly as a new manufacturer DVLA make us jump through hoops before a bike is registered.

They are also running a shoot out on their dyno with prizes for any bike which can beat the EBR1190RX.

If you haven't been to Krazy Horse before you are in for a treat. They are located in a beautifully presented building on a business park with their own "Rockers" (an Ace Cafe franchise) cafe. Historically they have been quite a high profile custom bike builder but they now also stock Zero Engineering, Victory, Indian, Norton, Avinton, Paton, Morgan, Zaeta, Hard Knock and of course EBR 8-)

They're good people and include among their team two of my best people from Black Bear, George who was my Service Manager and John Ellis from Sales. If we look after them I think they could possibly become the venue for next year's UKBEG Birthday BBQ ;)

Hope to see a few of you there.

Steve

Steve - it's a bit short notice but we've managed to jiggle our weekend around to enable us to attend this EBR event at Krazy Horse. See you tomorrow afternoon, though we'll be bun-less :D ...

Room booked for Saturday night near Bury St Edmunds and then a scenic ride up through the Fens on Sunday morning to East Kirkby for the 3 Lancasters event, it promises to be (another) great weekend with plenty of smileage :P.....

Steve it's the perfect place for the Buell Birthday event, much better than BB could ever be.
It's got loads more going for it and any event they organise always goes well.
You certainly have my thumb up for it.

See you tomorrow

Sounds good to us, Easter 2015 is 3rd to 6th April, so subject to confirmation we'll go with that idea.

We popped up there on Saturday to see Steve and the new Sx.

The bikes look lovely and Mr Loxton was kept very busy from what I could see.

It was quite funny to see some of the hardly riders taking s test ride on the RX with their waistcoats on.

Pleasant afternoon I thought, and even got my X1 on the Dyno.
Very surprised with the results, :oooops: I know Mac put his Ully on and a friend of myne who's not on here put his M2 on.
After all it had to be done as it was free, did anyone else on here put there's on?

Another cracking weekend for Team Yorkshire. A total of 390 miles covered and not one drop of precipitation.

It was well worth riding down to Krazy Horse yesterday, it's a great dealership with plenty of interesting (and expensive :ill:) machinery for sale. The 1190SX was available for test rides so I took one out for a 30 mile spin. Even though it was spanky new with just 20 miles on the clock first impressions of the engine and gearbox were very positive, loads of torque and great handling. It was a bit cramped for me at 6 ft 3" and the suspension was too hard but on smooth roads it felt superb. Can't wait for the 1190AX to be released with dimensions to suit the taller rider and some plush suspension.

There were a few Buells there when we arrived at lunchtime but we only got to speak to Mac. A few pictures from the event....
