Is this bike anyone's from the forum, a buddy is interested in this and I don't know the pros and cons of M2's, if there are any which should be considered. I note seller states slight engine noise?
Any input appreciated

Cleared funds only because you might turn up stick a battery on it and find out the slight engine noise would wake the dead and then not pay for it.

Either he knows more than he's saying, or he has normal Buell owner paranoia. We all hear funny noises at idle. There maybe nothing wrong with it lOl

But as per noises, isn't the 2000 M2 susceptible to big end issues?

There's been a bit of work done there. I'd lose those horrendous pegs and that filter, but, if I could ride again, that'd be my bike. Mind you mid be reluctant to buy a bike I'd never ridden.

I don't know, anyway I've asked him a question about it.

But it does have an AST (with the reservoir mounted on the exhaust) and Banke shifters (prized by many)...

Mine is the same year but does have clock in MPH.

Could have been imported privately at some time.

I've had a reply from the guy, sounds pretty genuine. I've asked him if he minds me posting his response on here.
