hi again

you will have all the answers and a lot more........

.....Its not called the Emporium for nothing.
thanks for the replies.
I had an xb9 firebolt & yes it was a hoot to ride, cornered like a house fly, looked great, had some trick concepts ie. fuel in frame, oil in swing arm, the front brake disc.
but.... it over heated in town traffic, was a bitch to work on (changing plugs etc) cos the v twin was surrounded by that frame & the fuel injection used to go outa sync & need re-mapping (cos I fitted a jardine can).
ive got a sporty at the mo & its so easy to work on.
I know what some will say... that these bikes need a bit of lookin after, that if ya want trouble free riding get a h#nd#. booooorrrring!!!!!!!!!
I love my Harley but at the end of the day it handles like .....well a Harley!!!!!!!
I love the X1 (& earlier bikes) cos its a proper muscle bike, has a more sit up position & the v twin lump is more on show in that tubee frame than later models. A sporty on roids!!!!!
my questions are still the same, life with one of these bikes & what to look out for if shopping for one....mods/upgrades what things go wrong etc etc
cheers...ivan
