....you fit some new ones! :D

Just had a set of Road Pilot 3's fitted.....I no longer have to heave it into corners, the front wheel doesn't tramline on tarmac seams and that annoying head shake at......a certain speed.....has gone...

Early impressions are....nice tyres!

:yup: Thanks, I was asking for this kind of feedback on another thread, but it got hijacked...
But what made you choose the 3s over the (supposedly superior) 4s?

Don't start that again, Nick, it ran for two pages last time!

The tyre place (quite a big one) seemed to think they could get Road Pilot 4 GT's in 170.....but as they didn't have them in stock I went with the threes.....(There seems to be some confusion as to whether this size is actually available which may explain why they had none in stock  )

The Michelin web site doesn't show 4's available at all in 170....but then again, their website also recommends a 120/60 for the front....

I got PR3s on a tuber set of wheels a few weeks back, I was told PR4s were not available in 170 as Michelin see that is an obsolete size.
