I am gutted I am not going to be able to attend. I originally planned to ride my bike there, and hopefully persuade my friend to ride her Blast there as well, but at the moment my Blast is off the road, having the wheels powdercoated, a new rear shock fitted etc. etc.

The other half also made plans to attend the 50th Anniversary of the Triumph Bonneville at Gaydon. At the time I hadn't realised it was the same weekend. We have now arranged to meet with our friends in Brackley as it is only a very short distance from Gaydon. Now the men have decided NOT to go to the 50th as it is an exorbitant amount of £25 per person just to gain entry to the event!! We pay less for attending the BSB or WSB for a day's racing!! We are still going to visit our friends for the weekend though as there is a Bike Event in Brackley on the Sunday with guests Leon Camier and Cal Crutchow as well as others.

Hopefully I will meet up with some of you at Silverstone, as we will definitely be attending this event.

Have a great time at Sammy Millers.

BTW...Do you have a photo album for these type of events??

A good morning, I am really noticing what I have been missing this year, not been to as many bike events had I had hoped. Nice to meet up with many again, apologies if I have, was a little quiet and unnormally more reserved today.
Tugs gave me his camera to take some shots so I used that to keep myself busy. Hope they came out ok, Tugs?
Great to see so many buells, must have been over 45 with others in and out during the morning (Expect CJ has official count, and thanks for the early morning cuppa CJ, much appreciated).
Good to catch up with some locals who I have not seen in a while plus the London and carrot crunching contingent (Oh I am not including not so fat slag in that statement, she is far too majestic an un flat lands like :D ).
Hope the rest of the day went well for all(BBQ, Popham), safe journeys, I had to go back to sort a dead car and a sick car so afraid had to return to the mothership.
Till the next one.

For the third time at a Buell event this year, I'm just off to find the after-sun.

What a grand day out!
Yet again, CJ managed to sort the weather out and we were treated to a glorious day in the sun.

As usual, I managed to get myself lost on the way there, ending up in the urban mayhem that is Christchurch/New Milton. I must remember to look at a map before setting off!

A big thanks to Mrs. Peel and Steed, who laid on a splendid barbeque for us miscreants, where we continued to enjoy the sunshine while watching the aircraft appearing at the local air show.

This was followed by a cracking ride back to Shangri-La in the company of young Onanist. We even managed to take in Zig-Zag Hill en-route.

The X1 performed near faultlessly, nothing broke and nothing fell off.
