 Post subject: S1 tacho jumping.

Had a look in the search facility , but could not find any info on 1998 S1 tacho problems. Mine started flicking about a bit then stopped completely. Are there any problem areas to look at or are they unserviceable as the manual suggests. Ta.

Try connecting it directly to the coil and bypassing the pink wire

Swaped rev counter over with one off my other bike and it works fine, so is the dead one fixable or fecked? Anyone with a spare out there?

My tacho started to do the needle dance on a tour of the Wiltshire Horses last weekend.

Did a search, found this thread, job done.
