It's got me thinking a bit too

. As I understand it, the major problem with tele forks is that they compress under braking and affect the trail. I imagine the forks may flex a bit too, adding to the trail alteration. Does the effective tyre contact patch where the Mass of the bike meets the road, move backwards as well? All these little things could add up to quite a significant change in chassis geometry.
Any thoughts?
