Hi all. My Buell Metisse is progressing well but....Original loom etc is adapted, powered up but no sparks.
It's an 01 M2 motor and loom from a crashed bike so I wasn't expecting problems as the loom and engine are from the same bike. Unless bizarrely the engine cutting out caused the crash?
I got a sparky, not auto trained but good, in for 3 hours today and this is where we are now.
I have linked out the clutch/sidestand switches ok and tried with the tilt switch in and linked out. We are getting power to the coil and a pulse from the cam sensor to ECU. Everything appears to be working. I'm using taylor leads and an accel supercoil. Cleaned connections and fuse box connections etc.
It turns over and I think bar trying the ECU on a different bike I'm running out of ideas. Can the ECU be checked by a Harley dealer? Any ideas at all???

didn't the clutch switch need to be made & the sidestand open circuit
.....if I remember rightly

The motor turns over which I think rules out the clutch/sidestand interlocks.
