Extra to the published UKBEG 2015 Events Diary:

UKBEG ‘Battle of Britain 75’ Meet, London, Sunday 27th September.

To commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain we’re organising a UKBEG meet at Bentley Priory Museum in Stanmore, North West London.

Bentley was Headquarters Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain.

The meet starts at 10.30am and is open ended, come and go as you please. All motorcycles are welcome; you don’t have to arrive on a Buell.

We hope to have an area reserved in their general car park for our use; it’s just a 2 minute walk to the museum.

Admission costs £9 for adults and £5 for children 6 to 16.

Although no one has shown any direct interest yet we're still going ahead with this UKBEG meet in London. We've booked a hotel in the Stanmore area for the Saturday night and we're looking forwards to a weekend darn sarf :P.....

We've had a cracking ride down to London :sun: :sun:....

We used the 'indirect' route out into Lincolnshire and then down through the Fens, covering a total of 267 smiles :P.....

We've had a brilliant weekend. Lots of :sun: and smileage. Although there were only 2 other Buells present today it was worth the 445 mile round trip. Thanks to Rik and Pete for turning up on their Cyclones :worthy:....

Bentley Priory is well worth a visit. We were very impressed with its architecture and how they tell the story of its role as Headquarters Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain.

Pictures to follow....
