No EBR this year but there's the new Guzzis (if you like that sort of thing :D) and plenty of other stuff.

Not sure which day we're going but it'll be Sunday 29th November or on the last weekend, Saturday/Sunday 5th/6th December. We'll post nearer the time with a view to meeting up with any UKBEG members who are there on the same day.

I haven't been for a few years and was looking forward to going during the week. Too busy for me at weekends. SWMBO Reminds me that we are going away for our anniversary next week :headbang:

:hehe: Tony, you old romantic :4roz: .....

I know what you mean about weekends at the NEC show but we've used all our holiday entitlements for this year, so we're stuck.

The new Triumph Thruxton R looks interesting. It might now have enough power to keep up with the traffic.

The new T120 doesn't do anything for me...looks too bloated to be using the title of the svelte original.

The Thruxton looks nice and 'purposeful' though....

I've managed to cadge a lift up this Saturday.

I always seem to come back a little underwhelmed though....

Lynn and I are going on Wednesday, 6 more sleeps 8-) I will make sure there is plenty of room under the Christmas tree should she decide to buy me something beginning with EBR. Perhaps a hint or two may be required.

We're going to the show today, if anyone else from UKBEG is also going and would like to meet up for a coffee and a natter call us on 0792 626 5582.

Have a great day CJ. A mate and I went down on Thursday. Really enjoyed it. Lots to look at. Particularly liked the little CCM GP450 as a nice piece of design.

We had a great day at the show but none of the new 2016 models really had that 'wow' factor so I think we'll stick with what we've got for the time being.

The new V9 Guzzis are a welcome addition to the range and we look forwards to test riding the larger version of the 'small block' engine. If Jane's 750's are anything to go by it should be a real peach of a motor. We weren't impressed with the styling though, the petrol tank looks awful and mismatched when compared to the rest of the bike. Every Tom, Dick and Harriet wanted to sit on the V9's so I pointed my camera at the new 750 Stornello :P and the 1400 'Flying Fortress'.....

Hopefully next year I'll be writing about EBR's in addition to Guzzis.

That last touring Guzzi appears to have a small piano or computer keyboard built into the top of the pannier. .......Cool :yup:
