Testing the water to see how much interest out there as I may be selling my bike. It's a 2008 signature edition in cherry bomb with 3150 miles... yes, shameful I know! PM me if you have an offer.

Please don't sell it to the dealers abroad until those in the uk can have a chance to sort finance etc. They get snatched up by Harry etc before anyone can actually even make a decision. Sounds a great bargain for someone if the price is right.... Low miles, low seat height, great model, great colour etc. Etc. :yup:

I'm in the process of taking private plate off, so no great hurry. Some history, the bike was bought by a member on here from Edinburgh Harley. He rode it down to the ferry and took it back to Northern Ireland where a Irish plate went on it. He then decided to sell in June 2009 to me and I had it picked up by courier with the miles from the dealer only on it. I kept the Irish plate but the bike had to be transferred to our DVLA so V5 shows no previous owner just me although it states first registered elsewhere in 2008. I'm keeping the Irish plate so an age related plate will go on it.

As I say no great rush for it to go, if worse came to worse I'll put it in storage but if I get offer of what I want then it'll go. I'm happy to keep it in the UK but if no-one shows interested then it'll be sold to whoever has the cash.

I'll get some pics added at weekend weather permitting. As you've guessed this bike doesn't see rain.

The bike itself is totally standard with just the adhesive reflectors removed from the forks. It has one dealer stamped at first service and I have had my mechanic pal do oil change every year. It has current MOT.

Such a shame they all disappear to Germany. There are people in the uk wanting these bikes too. I love mine. :yup:

Wish I had the cash to buy another one for myself, but sadly my numbers didn't come up on the lottery at the weekend. Good luck with the sale though. :yup:

I agree with you Jill.....but my numbers never came up either else I would quite happily have another one :) let's hope it stays here, took me ages to find mine.
Good luck with the sell.

I sold an XB9 a few weeks ago, had interest from Dirty H but he was just too slow getting round to it so it stayed in the UK.

I really want that low seat if you or the next owner want to swap and/or sell for my normal mid height leather one.
