Thought I would ressurect this thread as I used this last night to get a caliper sliding pin out out of the caliper backet. Filled a pool on the back of the threaded portion of the pin which overnight seemed to have soaked in (it has disappeared), a spanner and a bit of a knock with the palm and it was undone...
