Hi All,

Loking for some advice. Last year, when the fuel was getting low, the engine cut out. Quiet nerver racking and hitting the start button she fires up. Now, i keep refuelling every 60 miles or so.

Any Ideas

Thanks

I would drain the tank and clean the filter as there may well be water or other contamination in the system, refill with clean fuel and then take it for a long run. Take a can of petrol with you  May eliminate problem or not but at least you will know. Don't forget the golden rule...only change one thing at a time, good luck.

Putting in more than half a gallon may help!

With the fuel pick up at the bottom of the frame I have found in the past that heavy braking with <1/2 tank can result in a fluffy response and an occasional cut out. On the one track day I have done on the 'bolt I filled up every session to reduce this effect, especially coming out of the Hislops chicane at Oulton :D.

Only happened occasionally on the road.
