My neutral light comes on every time I pull the clutch lever in. Is this just a buell thing?

Nope. Shouldn't do that.
Without a wiring diagram to hand I'd only guess it's a diode gone open in the starter interlock circuit (which is designed to prevent starter motor operating unless certain conditions are met eg in neutral, side stand up, clutch lever in)
Some one cleverer than me will be along shortly...

Good info. The light coming on isn't a problem, I just don't want it to be part of a bigger problem.

I don't actually have a cut out switch on my side stand. Also thought this was a buell thing.
